Investigating a comlink failure with the MineraTek orbiting mining platform “Hades” in orbit around Bernelli’s World, a unit of United States Space Marines discovered a nightmare of hostile xenomorphs and human corpses reanimated by an unknown viral agent. Suffering heavy casualties and barely escaping with their lives, the unit sent an emergency subspace transmission alerting the United States government to hostile contact by an unknown, intelligent and hostile alien race.
